Charging instructions

The video guides you through the steps listed below: 

1. Register in the OneCharge application (if you do not yet have a user account).
2. Check the instructions for the correct charging procedure displayed on the charging station itself, as they may vary from station to station.
3. Select the connector you wish to use and plug it into your vehicle. If the instructions on the charging station differ, first complete steps 4, 5, and 6, and only then plug the selected connector into your vehicle.
4. In the app, select the desired connector by scanning the QR code next to the connector, entering the connector code, or selecting the connector from the map.
5. Click the “Select” button.
6. A window will open in the app where you can add your bank card for payment (if a Petrol e-mobility card is already added as a payment method in the app, skip step 6).
7. After successfully entering your bank card details, a pre-authorization of funds for charging will be performed. 
8. Charging will begin.
9. When you want to stop charging, open the active session in the app and click “Stop”.
10. Wait for the charging station to complete the process and unplug the cable from your vehicle.

(Petrol Pay Loyalty or Petrol Business e-mobility Card)

The video shows charging with a Petrol Pay Loyalty card (or a business Petrol e-mobility card) according to the steps below: 

1. Check the instructions for the correct charging procedure displayed on the charging station, as they may vary.
2. Select the connector you wish to use and plug it into your vehicle. If the instructions differ, first complete step 3 and only then plug the connector into your vehicle.
3. Hold your Petrol e-mobility card near the identification point on the charging station. Follow the notifications displayed on the station screen.
4. Charging will begin.
5. To stop charging, hold the card again near the identification point and wait for the charging station to complete the process. At some stations, stopping must also be confirmed via the screen or designated buttons.
6. Wait until charging is completed and unplug the cable from your vehicle.

When using the OneCharge web application, follow these steps: 

1. Check the instructions for the correct charging procedure displayed on the charging station, as they may vary.
2. Select the connector you wish to use and plug it into your vehicle. If the instructions differ, first complete steps 3, 4, and 5, and only then plug the connector into your vehicle.
3. In the app, select the desired connector by scanning the QR code, entering the connector code, or selecting it from the map.
4. Click the “Charge” button, tick the box “I agree to the Terms of Use”, and click “Continue”.
5. Add your bank card and click “Confirm and Pay”.
6. After successfully entering your bank card details, a pre-authorization of funds will be performed.
7. Charging will begin.
8. When you want to stop charging, open the active session in the app and click “Stop”.
9. Wait for the charging station to complete the process and unplug the cable.

When using the e-payment terminal:

1. Plug the charging cable into your vehicle and note the charger and connector designation (e.g., 3B).
2. On the e-payment terminal screen, select the language and then choose “Start Charging”.
3. Select the charger number (1, 2, 3…) and the letter above the connector (A, B, C…) where you want to charge.
4. Select the charging method: by amount (€10, €20, €30, €40…) or by energy (10 kWh, 20 kWh, 30 kWh…) and define the desired value.
5. Hold your payment card near the marked area and wait for charging to begin.

► Stopping Charging:

1. On the terminal screen, select “Stop Charging”.
2. Select the charger number and connector letter used (e.g., 3B).
3. Hold the same payment card used to start charging and wait until the process is completed.
4. Unplug the charging cable from your vehicle.

► Obtaining a Receipt

1. On the e-payment terminal, select “View Receipt”. 
2. Scan the displayed QR code with your mobile phone. 
3. On the website opened via the QR code, enter: 
4. The last four digits of your payment card. 
5. The charging date. 
6. All receipts for the selected date and card will be displayed. 

At Petrol sales points where a charging station is available, you can purchase kilowatt-hours (20, 30, or 40 kWh). The sales assistant will activate charging for you. Charging continues until the purchased energy is delivered and then stops automatically.

Steps for purchasing at the cash register: 

1. Park your vehicle at the charging station.
2. Go to the sales point cash register.
3. Purchase the desired amount of electricity.
4. Our sales staff will activate charging for you.
5. After charging is complete, unplug the cable from your vehicle.

If charging does not start immediately, the most common reasons are an incorrect charging procedure, payment issues, temporary malfunction, or loss of connection to the network. 

First, check whether: 

• The cable is properly connected. 
• You followed the correct charging procedure according to the instructions displayed on the charging station.
